This is NOT a directory of certified organic farms. There are several places those looking for lists of farms can go. Certifying agencies can be a good source of info about certified organic farms and processors. Go to the Certification Agencies page to find which certifiers operate in your area. The Iowa Department of Agriculture is creating a list of certified organic Iowa farms and processors at www.agriculture.state.ia.us. The Minnesota Department of Agriculture has published a 2006 Directory of Minnesota Organic farms which is available on their website www.mda.state.mn.us/esap/organic.

This edition is published by the Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service (MOSES), with funding from the Minnesota Natural Resource Conservation Service, USDA North Central Region Sustainable Ag Research and Education Program, (NC-SARE), USDA Risk Management Agency, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection and the Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service. We have updated and expanded this edition to include many new listings.

Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information printed in the Directory, it is inevitable that some information will be outdated, incorrect or missing. If you have corrected or new information, please contact MOSES.

Periodic updates of the Directory on the MOSES website as well as future hard copy updates are an ongoing project of MOSES. The publishers do not necessarily endorse the individuals and organizations listed in the Directory.
